Our Super Trooper's Journey Home...

Kial said "Weeeeee..." for the first half hour and the last half hour of each leg of our flight.

We always carry candy and earplugs on the flights for those around us just in case, and we have yet to have to use them. He's our Super Trooper!

MEMAW: If we were to thank you for all that you've done for Kahlial and our family I'd be typing for eternity. Thank you for all of it, especially for your part in getting us to DE and for making the trip with us. It would have been a much different trip without you. You take so much stress out of the equation by thinking of and being there for all the little things that help make the big things more endurable.

PAPPY: Thanks for taking care of Booker and alleviating that worry for us, and thank you for giving up Mom for this trip.

GRAMMA SANDY: Thank you so much for you assistance in getting our family out to the East Coast for surgery.

MEME & PEPE: Thank you for the nice send off. So great to SEE you and hear you play guitar and interact with Kahlial. Looking forward to much more.

MARYANN DICKEY: Thank you for all the late nights, bruised and callused fingers from working so diligently on preparing clothing for Kahlial to wear with his halo. Impressed with your amazing work and eternally grateful!

MEGAN: To Kahlial's wonderful Physical Therapist, thank you for always being so supportive and proactive. We've been practicing our Qi-Gong :) Will be in touch an dlooking forward to getting home and seeing you.

TED & DARCY: Thank you so much for the great send off! the upgrades to first class were such an unexpected and incredibly appreciated surprise, along with travel kits and all. Thank you for your friendship and thoughfulness. Your generosity gets me teary just thinking about it.

TANIA & SETH: Thank you so very much for alleviating the stress about leaving the house for so long at holiday time. The alleviation of that worry is worth a hundred thank yous. I think we're on about 10 now. :) You are such great people and such great friends.

GORDON REYNOLDS: Thank you so much for helping us out last minute with the water heater.... huge for Mama to get a hot shower prior to heading to DE and knowing we get to come back to warm water too.

YAHOO KNIEST/SEDC GROUP: Special thanks to the Teneycke, Hwang, and Morrell families for their incredible support, advice, and willingness to share in their simiar experinces in order to help us prepare for ours. Thank you to all of you on this group for your words of encouragement and support.

I don't think Kahlial will really know what Christmas day is since he basically had Christmas everday for at least the past week with all the gifts that were received, overwhelming and appreciated.
